I thought that posting an overview of every great designer would take quite a while so instead I’ve decided to post what I thought to be the highlights of the 2010 resort collections – focusing on handbags and accessories as usual. If there’s any others which you loved feel free to post your favourites in the comments below! 🙂
I loved the Alexander Wang collection, primarily because of the stunning ensembles but I was also so excited to see these new handbags. One of the key bags featured looked to be a slightly smaller adaptation of the ‘Diego’ bucket bag in a patent leather. The ‘Diego’ has already been on my wish list since Alexander Wang’s 2010 resort collection when Abbey Lee Kershaw carried the suede version and more recently, the leopard print style. I might end up caving with this new one though, especially if it’s a bit more affordable.
Also new was a stunning shoulder bag, featuring what seems to be like Alexander Wang’s now trademark studs.
Balenciaga continued to bring out captivating prints in bright shades on what looks like a new take on the classic saddle bag.
Also featured were some very duffle-like bags, the left which reminded me a bit of LVs petite noe in epi leather. Not too sure about the tweed style bag myself, however I have a feeling this’ll become a favourite of at least one celeb.
I was also glad to see some new colours of the weekender, one of my favourite Balenciaga handbags, plus the croc in the dark brown shade is amazing, stunning etc. can’t wait for more photos.
I love the croc detail on this bag, plus its rope handles and khaki/brown shades make it a great summer beach bag, as you can see from the resort look on the right.
